1. PILATES CLASSES DESCRIPTIONS
1. Healthy Back – Focus on back care, stability and mobility. A more gentle class that will accommodate for modifications for neck pain, back pain, knee pain etc. Lots of hands-on correction as needed. Taking extra time for set up into exercises and time to transition. More of a balance of strength, stability and stretching to keep a gentle pace while having the clients leave feeling like they are getting stronger AND having a positive movement experience. Emphasis on breath, posture, alignment. Intermediate and advanced clients may come to this class when their backs are sore as well, so know they are there for Healthy Back.
2. Pilates 1 – our most general level of class and is taught as a “multi-level” class. Clients may begin here from our Jumpstart and Intro classes. Long term clients may remain in a P1 as they appreciate modifications and a balanced pace.
Modifications for wrist, hip, knee issues, osteoporosis as needed. Class is taught in progressions to accomodate for varying levels.
Hands on correction on alignment and technique are provided.
Clients learn how to manage their spring changes and be familiar with the use of the equipment.
3. Pilates 2 – Intermediate level. Clients who understand the principles and can transition into the next exercises quickly and accurately (ie: on your back in neutral spine – boom they are there). Set up and transition from one exercise to the next is quicker. Clients manage their springs/equipment. Fewer modifications are given and clients are expected to self-regulate more to stay safe and have a positive movement experience.
4. Power Pilates – Intermediate/Advanced. TWC's strongest class. Jumpboard, quick transitions, stacking muscle groups or body regions. This class is high energy and not for those who are injured. Clients must self-regulate. Corrections and cues to take the work deeper while keeping the class moving.
2. COREALIGN CLASSES
The CoreAlign® is a functional core training device that involves sliding carts which move independently with resistance or assistance possible in many different directions and set ups
CoreAlign 1
Perfect for those who are new to the CoreAlign. Have completed the Intro to Corealign session or done one private session. Get familiar with the exercises while improving balance, alignment, stability and gait.
CoreAlign 2
Ready for more intermediate and advanced exercises. Added resistance with bands and weights all moving at a faster, more athletic pace.
3. SUSPENSION CONDITIONING
Increase mobility, stability, breathe deeper and fully where you will re-energize, re-juvenate and re-new your body, mind and soul in delicious, feel good ways. Using suspension straps with Foam Rollers, MELT Method and breath work, you will experience movement that is truly a gift to your body.
