The lymphatic system is the key to your immunity. And, immunity is linked to health and illness. A healthy lymphatic system = a healthy body.
The lymphatic system clears waste from the body. If lymph isn't moving, it's not removing and our body becomes a toxic pool that can leave us feeling sick, unwell, tired, foggy head, achy and sore. The long term effects can be chronic pain, illness, autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, gut issues, sleep deprivation ......
So, it's kind of important. :)
Getting the lymphatics moving is easy. Depending on what's going on for you, a hands on approach to release blockages is helpful. If you have blockages (and if you have any of the ailments listed below, you do), we want to start gently as when we get the lymph moving, the body will detox. So a gentle start with some daily work on your own will support a healthy detox so you feel good and then better and better throughout the process.
From there, on a daily basis, using simple techniques you can keep your lymphatic system healthy, flowing and doing its job so you feel vibrant and strong each and every day.
SO WHAT MOVES LYMPH?
Movement and breath move lymph. A light touch of the hand stimulates and clear blockages in just a few minutes. There are some specific techniques that are just for the lymphatics. Done daily you will notice more energy, clearer mind, better sleep and less pain. BAM!
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE A LYMPH PROBLEM?
Signs and Symptoms:
- Chronic pain and chronic fatigue
- Poor sleep
- Inability to lose weight
- Brain fog
- Adrenal exhaustion
- Slow recovery /training plateau
- Easy bruising (calcium steal weakens walls)
- Delayed onset allergies (Always tied to leaky gut syndrome)
- Red eyes/gray eyes
- Achy body, painful on touch or with light pressure
- Swelling/puffiness/edema
These symptoms will couple with mineral deficiencies as well. Some involve low magnesium and zinc, others high sodium. I always suggest clients work with a Naturopathic Physician to get nutrition and supplement support.

WHAT DOES A LYMPHATIC SESSION LOOK LIKE?
1. Assessment - history and symptomatic intake.
2. Assessment of Lymphatic Nodes to assess pain points.
3. Breathwork - your diaphragm is connected to all things that move in your body - this includes lymph, blood flow, fascia, nerves.
4. Hands on therapy - may include fascial therapy, trigger point bodywork, MELT
5. Movement - may include fascial movement, MELT method, Pilates.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
Depends on what's going on in your body, how quickly you respond to treatment, what else you are doing for your health. Suggested is 1-5 sessions.
You will be given Lymphatic techniques to do daily at home. This is critical to your results.
